The President of Ghana, Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has pleaded with Christians in the Sehwi Wiawso in the Western North region to intercede on his behalf and his government as they continue to serve the nation.
He made this plea while addressing the Catholic Bishops at the Episcopal Ordination and Installation of Rev. Msgr. Samuel Nkauh-Boateng as the new Bishop of the Sehwi Wiawso Diocese.
The president urged all Christians to continue winning souls and spreading the good news of Christ to humanity for a peaceful country.
In his address which was monitored by 1Family Radio, the president promised the town to complete all the roads before he leaves office.
He however stated that he needs their prayers to deliver on their promises and also to discharge his duties with uprightness and all meekness.
“I hope that this diocese continues to evangelize and win more souls and also serve the good people of Sehwi Wiawso, and the Almighty God.’’
“Please pray for me, I plead with you to always remember me, my government and my ministerial appointees in your prayers.”
”Please don’t forget us in your prayers so that we will be empowered to discharge our duties with humility and uprightness,’’ the president pleaded.
