Founder and leader of the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has lambasted the government over the prevalent power outages popularly known as ‘dumsor’.
The country has been in a state of fury and confusion over the emergence of dumsor coupled with the government’s refusal to keep the citizens apprised with the cause of this issue.
Ghanaians are constantly on the necks of the Minister of energy and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to release a load-shedding timetable during this period of dumsor.
The clergyman in a video sighted by 1Family Radio on X, postulated that the current power outage being faced the country is an indication of the government’s gross mismanagement.
“Today I slept outside, in my house, on three chairs combined. You can’t sleep, because you are living in a nation that has no leadership; we voted for them, we’ve given them everything for free; free food, water, fuel, electricity, we have given them a salary and have asked them to fix our issues.’’
He continued, “Ghanaians are crippled and blind, are leaders are blind and dim-witted dogs who cannot speak and cannot perform. We are 67 and we are struggling with common electricity.’’
“Electricity is a common amenity, what we are presently experiencing is not a scarcity of supply, it is an economical issue and it is an economical issue, then it is mismanagement. This power outage is blurting out how flawed our leadership is. flawed leadership, I’m not interested in whose parties in power.’’
“Hope must be reinstated, we are praying and hoping that things will get better, when lights go off and we are in heat, your generators starts automatically, what sort of nonsense is this?’’ he lambasted.
