While the official roster for the World Cup qualifications has not yet been announced, there are a few outstanding players who will undoubtedly be missing the event.
Magnificent Thomas Partey is the first player to be eliminated. The Arsenal player would not be able to play in any games for the remainder of the year due to a groin issue that occurred in September after a recent muscle injury. Because of the player’s tremendous midfield abilities and several examples of his strength, both the team and the supporters feel his loss.
Tariq Lamptey is the second player who was unlucky enough to miss the qualifiers. The exceptional right-back sustained a knee injury in October, and as it was unclear how his knee would heal, it was felt it would be best to avoid testing the waters.
Daniel Amartey is the next player whose name has been crossed out. The midfielder/defender hasn’t been in the lineup since September due to a pulled hamstring. Even if he may make a quick recovery, it was deemed too close to call, so his name was removed from the November games.
Due to injuries, players Joseph Aidoo and Daniel Kofi Kyere were all sidelined. Joseph Aidoo will miss the forthcoming games even though it is reported that his ankle injury was successfully repaired during surgery. He will be allowed to resume playing in seven months. On the other side, Kofi Kyere has been sidelined for almost a year due to an Anterior Cruciate Ligament [ACL] injury. This has left fans and players alike wondering when such a phenomenal talent would be able to take the field again.
