Christian Ronaldo is “still going strong” following his 127th goal for his country during Portugal’s decisive victory in the Euro 2024 qualifying round.
The competition’s 2016 winners, led by five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, are already purchasing tickets for the tournament to be held in Germany the following summer.
The 38-year-old has made more than 200 appearances for his nation, which has been monitored by 1Family radio, adding to his already incredible record of goals scored in men’s international soccer. On Monday, Portugal easily defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-0, recording two more efforts.
In response to that triumph, Ronaldo said the following on social media: “Another win and great play by the whole team.” Guaranteed first place in the group! We are still going strong!
Ronaldo has also been playing well at the club level this season, scoring 17 goals in as many games for AI-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian team. The all-time great is reportedly hoping to play all the way to the 2026 World Cup finals in order to extend his incredible career both domestically and internationally.
