Emmanuel Emenike, a former striker for the Super Eagles, has offered assistance to people whose properties the Lagos State government has demolished.
The illegal buildings erected across canals and waterways are now being demolished by the Lagos State administration.
Numerous homes near the Megamound Estate, Gedegede-Mobil Road, and Ikota drainage canals have been demolished.
In an Instagram post, which was sighted by 1Family radio, Eminike questioned why the Lagos government would demolish buildings that the body had given the go-ahead for.
He called the exercise “pure wickedness” and urged igloos to make investments in Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu, among other states.
THE SADNESS IS TOO MUCH AFTER GETTING APPROVAL FROM THE SAME LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT; THIS IS PURE WICKEDNESS.
