Sam Nartey George, the current member of parliament for Ningo Prampram, has sent his heartfelt condolences to the late E.T. Mensah’s family.
Before Sam George ousted him in the NDC’s 2015 primary elections, E.T. Mensah served as the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) lawmaker for Ningo-Prampram. He was a member of the present Council of State up until his tragic passing.
Sam George expressed his deep sympathies on behalf of the opposition NDC in a statement seen by 1Family Radio.
On behalf of the National Democratic Congress, Ningo-Prampram Constituency, I wish to extend our profound condolences to the family of the late Honorable Enoch Teye Mensah,’’ parts of the statement read.
“The late former Member of Parliament for our beloved Constituency who, until his demise, was a Member of the current Council of State served our nation in several capacities for over four decades.’’
“We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and strength for his family left behind,’’ the statement noted.
