Ace Ghanaian reggae musician and radio personality, Blakk Rasta, has shared his two cents on Alan Kyerematen’s decision to resign from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Given the prevalence of theft and fraudulent conduct within the NPP party, he claims Alan Kyerematen is a coward for not resigning sooner.
Speaking on his program on 3FM, which 1Family Radio was listening to, Blakk Rasta predicted that Alan’s departure from the ruling party would spell the end of his political career because he couldn’t contend as an independent candidate.
“Alan Kyerematen is a coward; there are no two ways about that: a hopeless coward. I have ceased to like Alan from the time that he sat and watched Nana Akufo-Addo plunder and destroy this nation in the name of a minister of state,’’ he remarked.
“Alan Kyerematen was under his very nose, smelling thievery and corruption. Yet he did nothing out of cowardice. He watched the man pass the so-called E-levy, even though, according to sources close to him, he didn’t like the idea, yet he couldn’t stand and say anything. He sat down and watched when E-levy was passed.
“The NPP betrayed the people of this nation. A coward like this, if in your party you couldn’t win anything substantial, which right-thinking Ghanaian is going to vote for you when you go independent?’’ he asked.
“This guy is a big joker. These are people who make promises and never fulfill them. There is intimidation, but you knew very well that your party was full of intimidation and bloodiness,’’ Blakk Rasta added.
