The mortal remains of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, have finally been exhumed for autopsy.
This news was disclosed by the spokesperson for Lagos State Police, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a Twitter (Now X) post sighted by 1Family Radio.
This follows an earlier disclosure from the police leadership that the Lagos State Police Command had established a 13-man special investigation team to conduct an inquiry into the circumstances underlying Mohbad’s unexpected death.
“Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohbad #Justice4Mohbad,’’ parts of his tweets read.
When asked subsequently about the arrests the police made in relation to the deceased singer’s passing, SP Benjamin said, I can’t answer questions on the arrests yet because I don’t have that update. However, the nurse is in our custody; I can confirm that.’’
