Osman Bukari, a winger from Ghana, scored a goal for Red Star Bel during the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League matchday at the Etihad Stadium.
Bukari took advantage of a chance presented by Mirko Ivanic’s pass through the city defense on the verge of halftime, beating goalkeeper Ederson to put the game on the board.
The goal was first disallowed for an offside call, but the ruling was changed after further review. As a result, the European champions were down by one goal at the break.
Julian Alvarez quickly equalized the score in the second half, which was monitored by 1Family radio two minutes in. At the hour mark, Alvarez maintained his impressive play by scoring a second goal to give City the lead.
In the 73rd minute, Rodri struck the decisive blow, securing a third goal for Pep Guardiola’s team. Manchester City, the defending champions, scored this goal to give them a 3-1 victory.
