According to Dr. Raymond Morbu, a physician and the CEO of Andel Premier Medical Centre, there has been an increase in the number of injuries caused by sex toys among women in Ghana.
He claims that the majority of the women who visit the hospital for these treatments are influential and wealthy women in society.
In an interview on Accra FM that 1Family Radio monitored, the doctor said that these women are also lesbians who use sex toys to satiate their sexual urges.
He continued by saying that these wealthy women experience odd vaginal discharge because, after using sex toys, certain foreign elements are left in their intimate areas.
Dr. Morbu pointed out that the sex toy phenomenon started when the LGBTQ+ community and its activities gained widespread national exposure.
The doctor went on to say that because of their wealth and social standing, these ladies often use money to seduce younger girls.
Due to the scratches and abrasions left behind by using sex toys, he expressed concern that these wounds would actually increase the number of HIV/AIDS infections.
