In the midst of her husband’s scandal with actress Yvonne Nelson, Tracy Sarkcess, wife of famous Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, has cited a verse from the Bible.
Tracy’s reaction follows a few revelations in Yvonne’s newly launched memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
In the book, Yvonne claimed that Sarkodie impregnated her in 2010 and then pressured her to have an abortion since he wasn’t ready at the time.
Days after the launch of the book, Sarkodie released a new single titled “Try Me”, which was meant to address the allegations in Yvonne’s memoir.
Sarkodie refuted the allegations that he coerced Yvonne into having an abortion without denying his past relationship with the actress.
As the story evolves, social media has subsequently erupted in uproar. Although it’s unknown to whom the content of the text was addressed, Tracy, who has been mute during the entire episode, has quoted Proverbs 19:5 in an Instagram post sighted by 1Family Radio.
The Bible verse reads, “A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.’’
Although the intended recipient of the Bible verse is unclear, Ghanaians have associated it with a feud between her husband and Yvonne Nelson.
