Nigerian musician and former boyfriend of Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, Iyanya, has hinted that he is ready to follow Sarkodie’s lead and respond to some allegations against him by the actress.
Iyanya and well-known Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh were implicated in a devastating tale of infidelity in Yvonne Nelson’s memoir, ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson.’
After parts of the book implicating Iyanya in infidelity went viral, the musician promised to respond to the allegations, though he did not specify how.
So Yvonne Nelson said I cheated on her with Tonto Dikeh? Oh wow. I’ll respond to this later. I’m not going to write a book, but… For now, make i go watch my new video director just send me now. Love & Trust Ft. Joeboy,’’ his initial tweet in response to the accusations noted.
Until renowned Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, who was also mentioned in Yvonne’s memoir, responded to certain accusations against him in his new song, “Try Me,” there was no word of Iyanya.
It has been speculated that Iyanya might respond with a new song in light of his recent tweet.
“Y’all waiting for my side of the story? Iyanya noted this in his tweet, which was sighted by 1Family Radio.
“If I talk now, I’ll be accused of kissing and telling, sluts shaming, etc., but something’s got to give, so wait for it,’’ parts of the tweet read.
