A former Ghanaian hiplife artist now turned evangelist, Lord Kenya, has alleged that the present generation of musicians performs below par.
Additionally, he asserted that the majority of these musicians charge exorbitant fees when billed for performances, even though they hardly perform anything extraordinary.
The musician, famed for his lyrical works and upbeat performances, observed that Ghana’s current crop of performers are only doing concert parties.
“These people? They are just doing a concert party, he noted in an interview on Akoma FM, monitored by 1Family Radio.
He claims that most performers just leap on stage and begin to pant after a short while.
You’ve seen what they do on stage, right? They parade about and start panting frantically,” he added.
Lord Kenya maintained that the new generation of Ghanaian artists lacks the craft without wavering.
