Following the extradition of Hajia4Real from the United Kingdom to the United States for scamming over $2 million from both single American men and women in a perverse lonely-hearts scam, social media has been recently set ablaze.
However, when the singer and social media influencer appeared in Manhattan Federal Court, she entered a not-guilty plea to these accusations. Hajia4Real was freed on $500,000 bail with an ankle monitor with GPS tracking.
A Nigerian social media celebrity named Hushpuppi has also made headlines lately after he was detained in the US for his involvement in a global fraud ring. He received an 11-year prison term.
These two social media superstars have been trending on several social media platforms as some internet users have shown sympathy for them and others have criticized them for putting unneeded pressure on themselves and the younger generation.
