Reggie Rockstone, the pioneer of hiplife in Ghana has revealed that some Ghanaians think he is poor and therefore do not accord him the respect he deserves.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM monitored by 1Family Radio, the artiste noted that everybody that disrespect him does so at his own peril.
He furthered that people think he is poor and say all sort of rubbish to him but they are forgetting that he is the pioneer of hiplife in Ghana.
Reggie lamented that he doesn’t understand why some Ghanaians disrespect him when he has done nothing against them.
According to him, he has left a legacy which has made Ghana unique among other African countries and the future generation can hold unto this legacy.
Reggie added that he would urge the young ones to desist from insulting him because they are bringing curses upon themselves. He indicated that this shows how some Ghanaians are ungrateful.
He also spoke about issues pertaining to the documentary on Hiplife by the BBC dubbed ‘Hiplife Rewind.’ According to the documentary, Hiplife is dead.
