Black Stars players Jordan Ayew, Andre Dede Ayew, Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, and Baba Rahaman are set to honor the third edition of the All-Star Festival in Tamale, in the Northern Region.
They are expected to be joined by former Black Stars players Mubarak Wakaso, Majeed Waris, David Abagna, and other football stars from Ghana for the football festival organized by the business African Consulting Group.
This is the first time the Northern Regional Capital is hosting the festival, where the Black Stars players play a local select team drawn from Premier League, Division One, and Division Two clubs.
This year’s festival will also see the rehabilitation and unveiling of the Abedi Ayew Pele Roundabout in Tamale, a sports business series at the university for Development Studies, and a Legends Night where retired footballers fraternize with the professionals.
Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo, told journalists that the festival will offer upcoming footballers the opportunity to learn from the stars and showcase their talents to the world.
He urged residents to support the festival to be victorious.
