There is no group of players chosen as the starters for the match between Ghana and Madagascar, according to Chris Hughton, head coach of the Ghanaian Black Stars.
On June 18, 2023, Ghana and Madagascar are anticipated to square off at Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar.
The Black Stars players began a rigorous training regimen on Monday and will continue it through Thursday. On Friday, they will take a flight to Antananarivo in preparation for their AFCON qualifying match against Madagascar.
After the team’s Tuesday practice, Chris Hughton addressed the media and said that because every player is bringing their best effort right now, it is difficult to choose the first eleven players to start the game.
“There is no absolute standout first 11,’’ he told the media in the press conference monitored by 1Family Radio.
“Whatever the squad is, whether 23, 24, or 25, players are all striving to want to start,’’ Chris Hughton noted.
“As a coach, you must always provide your players with all the information, and when we do our research and observe our opponent, there isn’t one that we think we are going to win this game easily,” he remarked.
