The ex-fiancée of Shatta Wale, Michy, has disclosed that she is ready to have a mature conversation with the musician about their son, Majesty.
She also debunked the allegation by Shatta Wale that he has been prevented from seeing his son after their breakup in 2019.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Adom TV, monitored by 1Family Radio, the actress stated that Shatta has refused to show maturity in their communications, and this is what has prevented him from seeing his son.
“I’ve been in a conversation with him. The focus should be on our child, but I have not seen that. The conversation should be about the child, not us. What ensued between us or what we said to each other doesn’t matter,’’ she noted.
Michy disclosed that she has been the only person taking care of Majesty since their breakup. She also added that she finds joy in catering for her son.
“When it comes to seeing the boy, Shata hasn’t made any effort. I, on the other hand, have been keeping everything cool. It’s one of those things.’’
“I am not preventing him from seeing the boy because he knows my house and phone numbers. I heard him saying that I have blocked his calls, but my other number is online; everybody knows it; strangers even call me,’’ she said.
The baby mama continued that Majesty has not yet shown signs of missing his father because he seems satisfied with the life he is living.
“My son hasn’t shown any sign of missing his father. We don’t have discussions, so I can’t tell. My son is quite satisfied in life, and I don’t think he has a reason to look for that.’’
“Proper communication is what’s stopping Shatta from seeing his son. He lacks mature communication; there is more he has to do on that side,’’ she added.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for empowering her to care for her child despite the struggles and hurdles involved.
“I don’t want to push this topic, but taking care of my child makes me fulfilled in life, and so I have to do it. I thank God because I don’t beg in order to feed my son, although it doesn’t come easy,’’ Michy said.
