A story narrated by the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye has proven that God is still in the business of performing miracles.
The Chairman who doubles as the president of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) recounted a story of how a seven-year-old boy raised his dead father, who was an idol worshipper back to life by praying.
Delivering his State of the Church Address at the 46th session of the General Council Meetings of the church on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, Apostle Nyamekye stated that the man has now converted and given his life to Christ.
Apostle Nyamekye narrated that Emmanuel Kofi Kpentor, the seven-year-old boy insisted on praying for his deceased father before he is sent to the mortuary.
“To the astonishment of the nurses and doctors at the hospital, Emmanuel Kofi Kpentor insisted that his father would not be taken to the mortuary until he has prayed for him,’’ he said.
He continued that while his father’s body was being taken to the mortuary, he began shaking and he was rushed to the hospital for immediate attention.
“By the grace of God, he was brought back to life, given his life to Christ and together with his family, was baptized on June 26, 2022,’’ Apostle added.
