Samuel Adu Frimpong, a Ghanaian hip hop artiste popularly known as Medikal has expressed his disappointment over the credibility of some media houses in Ghana.
His reaction follows a publication by a media house in Ghana indicating that the musician stated that Shatta Wale is the reason for Burna Boy’s success in the music industry.
“Truth be told, it’s time to give respect. Shatta Wale paved Burna Boy’s path to success. But some folks are too proud to accept.”
“Let’s give credit where it’s due, and show some respect!!! Without Shatta, Burna may not have had his big break,’’ the false publication stated.
Reacting to this, Medikal has questioned the scheme by which journalists are employed in the country.
According to him, the false publication by the media house demonstrates lack of professionalism by the firm.
“Some of you wake up in the morning, put on some cheap clothes and spread some BS on national television without doing any research,’’ he said.
Medikal furthered, “No form or level of professionalism exhibited here. When and where did I say this? My question is who de employ these people?’’ he quizzed.
