Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the majority Chief Whip and also the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri has urged the opposition party, NDC to desist from their hypocrisy.
His comment comes after the Member of Parliament for the Abetitf Constituency stated that the NDC will surely collapse because they will never assume power again. Mr. Bryan Acheampong noted, “It will never happen that the NPP will stand on a platform to hand over power to the NDC. It will never happen. We will make sure that NPP remain in government at all cost.’’
He made this statement on Saturday, 8th April, 2023, when he addressed some members of the party after a health walk in Kwahu.
In reaction to this, the NDC condemned the statement made by Acheampong which they termed as a brazen statement.
“The NDC condemns this utterly reckless and treasonable comment in no uncertain terms. We note that Bryan is the latest of the high-ranking officials of the NPP to make such brazen statement that reveals the party’s deep-seated determination to subvert Ghana’s democratic order,’’ a statement issued by the party noted.
However, Frank has described the letter issued by the National Democratic Congress as an act of hypocrisy, adding that their hypocrisy is sometimes appalling.
A post shared by the lawmaker on his Twitter handle stated that the NDC party should let Bryan Acheampong be because there nothing new about what he said.
The tweet sighted by 1Family Radio indicated, “leave Bryan alone. He said nothing new. The entire party and the parliamentary caucus is fully associated with him. The hypocrisy of our colleagues is just nauseating often times.’’
