Uk-based Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur, Stephanie Benson has disclosed why she prefers exercise over body enhancement surgeries.
Speaking in an interview on Onua FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Stephanie noted that every surgery has its own side effects and there is no question about this therefore although she has the means to undergo a body enhancement surgery, she won’t do it.
However, she explained that she doesn’t have a problem with women who undergo these surgeries adding that any woman who feels she wants to change something about her body should go ahead and do it if she has the means.
She stated health is everything and therefore Ghanaians need to be mindful of certain things. She believes that although exercise may take time, it does wonders and people shouldn’t underestimate the power of exercise.
“I have five children, I am married for thirty-four years, I have threes businesses and I go for music shows and I still have time to exercise because I am mindful of my health,’’ she noted.
According to her if you are done with childbirth and you want to undergo liposuction, go ahead but if you have not given birth before, there is no need for body enhancement surgeries because your body will change after you give birth.
She narrated how one of her daughters before giving birth wanted to uplift her breast because it was slightly flatter but she advised her against it. “I advised her that her breast will sag after she gives birth so there is no need for the upliftment. she has given birth but she no longer thinks about it because we exercise together,” she noted.
The musician added that at the age of fifty-five years, her body stature looks better than that of a twenty-five years lady because she exercises with her children almost everyday.
