John Paintsil, former Black stars defender has slammed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for what he terms as hypocrisy by the GFA about the death of Christian Atsu.
The GFA and other Ghanaians that knew Atsu personally have expressed their grieve and sadness since the late player was found dead under the rubble in Turkey.
However, John Paintsil has disclosed that the GFA is being insincere about the issue.
Speaking in an interview on Original FM monitored by 1Family Radio, the former defender hinted that the GFA is just pretending about the issue because they ignored Atsu when he was without a club.
He furthered that the GFA didn’t show the late player any mercy when they kicked him out of the senior national team but after he passed away they are pretending to have loved him. Painstil added that Atsu had to struggle before getting a permanent club to play for after they kicked him out of the Black stars.
The former defender cautioned the GFA not to pretend they loved Christian because they never loved him.
