The management and the Director of Operations of the Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Limited has opposed the speculation that the factory has collapsed. The factory is located in the Central Region of Ghana.

Interacting with some journalists during a tour of the factory and some parts of the farmland, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, Frederick Kobbyna Acquah, the Director of Operations of the Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Limited, asserted that the factory is still in operation.

He stated that factory is a Ghanaian owned business and it is one of projects of government’s ‘One District One Factory’ policy.

He lamented to the journalists that he doesn’t comprehend why some Ghanaians are claiming that the factory has collapsed. He furthered that the factory has not ceased from operation because they have enough farmlands, the tractors are in good shape, the employees are diligently working and they are also producing juice. He further stated that nothing can cause the factory to collapse.

Frederick Kobbyna Acquah announced that, the factory is being financed by the ‘One District One Factory’ policy. He also mentioned that the policy was brought about because of the Ekumfi Factory.

“The Ekumfi Fruits and Juices limited is well alive and it’s expanding” he uttered. Frederick declared that the factory is still running employing more people. They intend to create more awareness of the juice on the market.
