Self-acclaimed king of Ghanaian dancehall music, Shatta Wale, has descended heavily on netizens calling for his arrest for allegedly being part of Hajia4Real’s fraud case.
In a viral video sighted by 1Family Radio, the musician resorted to using obscene words at his critics while debunking the allegations that he is involved in Hajia4Real’s romance scam saga.
“Why should you tag the FBI to check Shatta Wale because Hajia4Real has been arrested by the police and is being investigated for fraud?’’ he quizzed in Pidgin.
“I’ve noticed some comments calling for my arrest. I decided to ignore you because I was counting money, but now I am done. What do you mean? The same thing happened when Nana Appiah Mensah was also accused of fraud.’’
“Some people were happy because they thought my house would be taken from me. Did you see anyone buying me a house? Do I resemble a fraudster? Can’t you see my hard work? Why would I do fraud? Can’t you see I am working in my studio?” he said.
“Instead of you guys interceding for Hajia4Real, you are rather tagging the FBI to arrest Medikal, Fella Makafui, and Salma Mumin because Hajia4Real was their friend.’’
“Go and ask the FBI if they have my documents. And to those of you saying that I won’t be able to travel again, I will travel, and nothing will happen to me.’’
“I was once told that there are Ghanaian artists who smuggle cocaine outside the country, and the airport has been monitoring them. The airport knows; go and ask them how many artists travel with cocaine that they are aware of,’’ he disclosed.
