According to John Ntim Fordjour, the Deputy Minister for Education, the biggest threat to Ghana’s advancement is still, by far, former President John Dramani Mahama.
The lawmaker from Assin South believes that the nation’s advancements under the current ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) could be seriously jeopardized by some of the actions and plans of the former president, who is also a candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
On Saturday, November 19, 2023, 1Family Radio noticed the Deputy Education Minister post on X, formerly Twitter, describing the former President as only able to delete policies “and threatens to cancel good policies at every opportunity.”
He claimed that in addition to terminating teacher training and nursing allowances, Mr. Mahama is threatening to “cancel the game-changing teacher licensure policy.”
According to Mr. Fordjour, “the biggest threat to Ghana’s progress is by far Malaysia.”
