The club’s head coach, Maxwell Konadu, is in considerably better health than he was following his assault on November 19, 2023, after Nsoatreman FC’s game against Bofoakwa Tano FC, according to a recent announcement from Mr. Gyempeh Joel, the club’s spokesperson.
Coach Maxwell Konadu is back in consciousness, but not entirely, according to Mr. Gyempeh, who has been updating supporters and the public on the coach’s condition on his X handle since the incident.
Additionally, he pointed out that the coach is still quite agitated and passive.
A group of irate and disgruntled Bofoakwa Tano FC supporters decided that the draw against Nsoatreman FC was insufficient, and they took matters into their own hands by storming the pitch following the final whistle. Maxwell Konadu, the coach, was the victim of this mob action.
The coach was taken to the hospital for treatment after the fans physically assaulted him, rendering him unconscious.
Nsoatreman moved up to the second spot on the league table thanks to the point earned from the draw, while Bofoakwa Tano dropped to the 16th spot.
