Kwesi Arthur, a Ghanaian musician, has sparked conversations on Twitter after his appearance at Davido’s Away Festival in America.
Since the video of his performance went viral, the musician has been the top trend on Twitter.
His performance has been characterized as mediocre by music lovers, which has disappointed fans who were enthusiastic when he was named as one of the few artists to grace the stage.
They contend that he sung at such a slow pace that the audience had nearly dispersed by the time his performance ended.
Others have come to the same conclusion: in a system where a new generation of artists is assuming the lead, he has fallen off fairly drastically.
Conversely, his admirers have said that he may be battling psychological issues or issues he hasn’t spoken out about.
Notwithstanding the varied viewpoints, Kwesi Arthur has tackled the matter by first expressing appreciation to Davido and his group for the exceptional chance.
Then, taking aim at his detractors, he declared that if there had been just two people in the theater, he would have carried on with his show.
Without holding back, the ‘Ground Up’ singer made fun of his detractors by telling them to “shove their opinions up their asses.”
“I see y’all’s comments. Even if there were two people in the arena, I would have still performed. I go need y’all to shove your opinions up your ass,’’ his post, which was sighted by 1Family Radio, stated.
