After spending six years in prison for stabbing Junior US, well-known Ghanaian musician and socialite Sam Safo, also known as Showboy, has been extradited back to his own country.
Showboy was given a six-year prison sentence in March 2019 for stabbing the Ghanaian musician living in the US after a fight.
Even though Junior survived the stabbing, he was slain in a robbery attack in 2021, and many people believed Showboy’s men were responsible for the crime when he was killed.
But after a few years, Showboy was let out of jail, and in a new video that 1Family Radio was able to view, he was seen on Ghanaian soil.
Taking to Instagram to announce his comeback, the former co-founder of the AMG group posted a video of himself at the beach, undertaking an auspicious cleansing.
“I am back to pay homage to all the gods and my ancestors. I am back,’’ Showboy said in the video.
Showboy thanked everyone who supported him in the caption that went with his post, revealing how the entire experience has since confused his mental health.
“Thanks to Allah/God and our ancestors for everything! Shouts to all my dawgs and families that held me down and never turned their backs on me. shouts to all that tolerated my depression and sorry to all I offended! Back for everything!! he added.
