Renowned Ghanaian actor and entertainer Kofi Adu, often known as Agya Koo, was recently seen fervently supporting Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s candidacy in a market.
The actor, who has publicly endorsed Kennedy Agaypong, was spotted urging onlookers to speak up for him while using a megaphone.
He also pleaded with those around to get their friends and family who are NPP delegates to support the Assin Central MP in the upcoming primaries.
Agya Koo said the following in a video that 1Family Radio saw and Amazing TV broadcast:
“As you haven’t seen anything yet, I am advising you to cast your vote for Kennedy Agyapong in the elections.” Agya Koo was overheard saying, “Maybe you’re not a delegate, but your friend or relative is; tell them to vote for him.”
“I beg you, please, do not let our efforts go in vain so that you will later weep. He said, “When the time comes, let’s cast our votes for Kennedy Agyapong, the first candidate on the ballot paper—a man of his word.”
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president; Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central; Dr. Owusu Akoto Afriyie, the former minister of agriculture; and former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh are the four candidates running for the presidency.
