Ghanaian-loved screen goddess Nana Ama McBrown has denied rumors that her marriage to Maxwell Mensah is on the verge of collapsing.
A few days ago, there were widespread rumors of a purported divorce. Some speculated that McBrown’s spouse had moved on to another lady, supposedly removing the actress from her marital residence.
But in response to the allegations on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, which 1Family Radio was monitoring, she assured host Andy Dosty that everything was fine and there was no need to be alarmed.
“I am happy at home; we are happy. We are very, extremely happy. It’s just like life, which comes with ups and downs. So it’s not what they are saying. I am not here to respond, but I just feel like me and my husband are cool; we are fine. So there is no need to talk too much about it,” she noted.
She said that she is incredibly strong and wouldn’t give in to pressure from anyone when asked how she manages the strain on social media.
“I don’t have any pressure. You don’t know me. I buy my own food. I came here in my own car. It’s my own car; I bought it myself. I fuel it myself. I live in my own house. I live in a house I built with my husband; we are fine. So if you live in a rented house and you talk about me, I won’t be worried about your pressure,” she said.
Nana Ama reaffirmed that she is aware that people will talk about her because she is a well-known figure. She does, however, have the freedom to choose what and who to listen to on social media.
She continued by saying that she is a successful woman who has all she needs to live a pleasant life, and she would not let the opinions of others break her down.
