In a recent interview with BBC News Africa, award-winning dancehall rapper Shatta Wale disclosed that his biggest regret in life is failing to pursue a legal career.
Shatta Wale said that he is still making preparations to pursue a legal career, saying that despite his love for music, he has always had a strong desire to become a lawyer.
“I’m trying; when I make enough money, I will become a lawyer,’’ he stated during the interview, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
The Kakai hitmaker also answered questions during the “question and answer” period on his favorite song, greatest meal, all-time favorite lyrics, worst regret in life, and if he would rather choose money or love.
Not only is Kenkey his favorite cuisine, but Shatta Wale listed the lyrics from the Jamaican singer Vybz Kartel’s song Mansa Musa Money as his all-time favorite.
“Kenkey is my favorite food,” he said, referring to his favorite dish. People used to consume it during the old Ghanaian wars and then wait 30 years to eat it again.”
Shatta Wale said that “love doesn’t pay the bills” when asked which was more important: money or love.
