Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and head of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has predicted that Kennedy Agyapong will never become the leader of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
He explained that some years earlier, the political enthusiast had made some accusations against the religious leaders.
Prophet Gaisie stated during an appearance on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, which 1Family radio carried, that Mr. Agyapong had the chance to lead the party, but he forfeited it when he began disparaging him as a man of God.
“If not for what Kennedy Agyapong did to some of us, he stood a very good chance of winning, but he has messed it up. I think when he is alone on his pillow, he will regret some of these regrettable regrets.’’
The contentious seer declared that he has a bond with God and that anyone who assaults him destroys themselves, alluding to the biblical passage, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”
He’s a fine man, but for what he has done and for my sake, there’s no way God will honor him. Some of us have served God and have covenanted with him. I still love Ken, though,” he said.
The prophet described how Mr. Agyapong’s accusations devastated him, saying that he lost a great deal of members and nearly lost his mother to death as a result of being called a murderer.
Because of the accusations made against the church, Prophet Gaisie had earlier promised to pray against the NPP flagbearer candidate should he win the election.
“What he did to the church, even if they give the nod to him, some of us will pray and fight that it should not be.”
Prophet Gaisie acknowledges that no one is immune to criticism or accusations, but he believes that one should always make an effort to back his claims with proof.
Nigel Gaisie has been labeled as a National Democratic Congress sympathizer by certain NPP members because most of his forecasts support the party led by John Mahama.
However, the man of God asserted during his speech on the program that he leans more toward the NPP than the NDC.
“I’m more pro-NPP than pro-NDC. Just that, it’s the work I’m doing. I don’t think that I hate NPP, but it’s just unfortunate that for the past six to seven years, my prophetic inspiration hasn’t favored them because they’re not doing the right thing, and I speak what God inspires me to say,’’ he added.
