Kevin-Prince Boateng, a former midfielder with the Black Stars, has been baptized.
The Ghanaian of German ancestry converted to Christianity by accepting Jesus Christ and receiving baptism.
He posted pictures of his baptism on Instagram and used a biblical verse to declare his belief in God to his followers.

At age 35, the former football player for Hertha Berlin, who had previously played for AC Millan and Barcelona, withdrew from the sport.
Boating distinguished himself on the global scene by playing for Ghana in two FIFA World Cup competitions, which were followed by 1Family Radio. Boateng was a key component in Ghana’s success at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, which saw them advance to the quarterfinals.
One of his standout performances was when he scored a goal in Ghana’s 2-1 victory over the United States of America in the round of 16 encounter. This helped Ghana advance to the semifinals.
