Former Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Enoch Teye Mensah, popularly known as E.T. Mensah, has been sadly kicked the bucket.
On October 1, 2023, a prominent figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the opposition party, passed away at 77 years old.
E.T. Mensah, who had been combating illness for some time, died in South Africa, according to reliable sources on 1Family Radio.
E.T. Mensah served in a number of positions, including that of mayor of Accra, minister of youth and sports, minister of education, and council of state representative for the Greater Accra Region.
During the 1996 General Election, E.T. Mensah was chosen to serve in the Second Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He remained the Ningo Prampram MP until 2016, when he was defeated by Samuel Nartey George in the NDC’s parliamentary primary.
He is survived by a widow and seven children.
