The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Kennedy Agyapong, has argued that the party has already lost the 2024 general elections.
He believes it would be an error for the party’s delegates to vote for someone other than him on Saturday, November 4.
“I am boldly and confidently telling you today that if you make the mistake not to vote for Ken Agyapong, the opposition is just staring at you because Ghanaians have decided.’’
This was said by him on Saturday, September 16, during his Show Down Walk, which was followed by 1Family Radio.
He claims that the party lost the 2024 elections in 2022 owing to the devaluation of the cedi and the implications of the Domestic Debt Exchange program, which drained retirees’ funds.
“We lost the 2024 elections in 2024. At the time, the Ghana Cedi destroyed the hard work of many businessmen, all the way to the tomato seller. Ghanaians will never forget that,’’ he said.
“The time the middle class went to court because their monies were lost, and the time the pensioners had their monies gone, Ghanaians will remember that,’’ he added.
