Sally Mann, an entertainment pundit who also serves as a judge on the Darling Factor reality competition, has criticized a contestant for singing a cover of Cina Soul’s song that, in her opinion, was unsatisfactory.
Sally Mann gave the contestant, who was later revealed as Diana, a very critical comment on her performance of the song “Feelings” by Cina Soul. Sally felt that Diana could’ve performed better.
Diana’s performance was deemed horrible and stupid by Sally Mann in a widely circulated video that 1Family Radio came across. She then chided Cina Soul by referring to her as a Ghanaian artist who is highly overrated.
“What stupid thing did you come to do here? Are we kids to you? What was that? I don’t know what happened to you today, ‘’ she told Diana.
“I don’t know if you wanted to sound like that girl. Erm, what’s her name? Cina Soul. It took a lot of things away from you. I didn’t feel you. Your vocal range is beautiful, and you could have done it your way, but you sound terrible. Be yourself! There can only be one Diana, and that’s you.’’
“You don’t need to sound like Cina Soul because, for me, Cina Soul has been that one person who has been overrated in Ghana. So be you!’’ she added.
