New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer candidate Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen slammed the attack on Ali Zakaria, who served as his campaign coordinator in the North East Region.
He blasted the alleged mob handling of Ali Zakaria and characterized the situation as an example of complete indiscretion and unacceptable behavior within the NPP party.
Alan expressed his outrage at the events that took place at the NPP Super Delegates Conference in an interview on JoyNews that was monitored by 1Family Radio.
“We all joined the NPP because of our commitment to the values of the party, but what is happening clearly shows that this is not what we bargained for by joining the party,’’ he noted.
“I’m not going to tolerate this kind of behavior; it doesn’t make sense, and when we cannot conduct ourselves as a family trying to select a leader in a peaceful and organized manner, how do we intend to be able to do the same kind of process when we have over two hundred thousand plus people gathered?’’ He quizzed.
“The party should not put a shine on this kind of incident,’’ he added.
