Nana Appiah Mensah, alias NAM1, the embattled CEO of the now-defunct Menzgold, has claimed that he suffered the most loss as a result of the scandal, despite aggrieved clients demanding access to their locked-up funds.
Speaking on a Twitter space, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, NAM1 said that the collapse of his company caused him to incur a significant loss because he no longer has any assets to his name.
“If you want to crown the biggest loser in all of this, I am the one, because I lost everything: I lost all my properties, and I don’t even have a car of my own in this country,’’ he said.
Additionally, he warned former clients that they risk losing their money permanently if they don’t verify their claims within the time frame given to them.
“If you don’t pass DD (due diligence), nothing can be upheld or sustained.’’
“It is going through the verification process; just get a card; there is a user instruction behind the card. Log on to https://www.payboy.com,” he said.
