Ghanaian Kumawood actress Christiana Awuni has openly acknowledged that she is an ardent supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The actress declared she would fervently support the former president, John Dramani Mahama, in 2024 if God granted her life and good health.
In a video shared by General Marcus on Twitter and sighted by 1Family Radio, Christiana revealed her endorsement of Mahama and the NDC as a whole.
“I have endorsed Mahama. If God doesn’t take my life, I’ll vigorously advocate for the NDC. I will zealously campaign for the NDC. All that is needed is life and strength,’’ she noted.
The actress pointed out that Mahama is exceptionally kind and considerate in response to questions about why she decided to endorse the NDC. She added that although Mahama is not in office, he is still assisting individuals, some of whom are NPP party members.
She believes that Mahama will save Ghana by providing more jobs for the young, which is another reason why she supports the NDC.
“I observed several things. Mahama was apprised of the role when he was in power. Look at what he is doing for certain actors who are on pensions and aren’t working, despite the fact that he isn’t the president in office. These individuals are paid by him, and each month he provides them with sustenance.’’
“Some of them are NPP supporters, but Mahama continues to look out for them. He is really sympathetic and compassionate,” Christiana said.
“I want the man to come so that he can reduce the unemployment rate among the youth. This is because the youth are our strength and future,’’ she added.
