Ghanaian media personality and the host of UTV’s United Showbiz, MzGee, has narrated how she was rejected by Fadda Dickson because of her proficiency in the English language.
MzGee claims that this incident took place in 2021 when she went to see Fadda Dickson, the managing director of the Despite Media Group, to give him a plaquette.
She described how Abeiku Santana welcomed her and spoke profoundly of her to Fadda Dickson when she arrived at his office.
According to MzGee, she was recommended by Fadda Dickson by Abeiku Santana, but the former outright rejected her due to her “English stuff.”
The media personality recounted this incident in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, monitored by 1Family Radio.
“I came here with Don and Capito years ago. We were supposed to give Fadda Dickson a plaque upstairs. What did you say at the introduction when we got upstairs? Cast your mind back to 2021. When we got upstairs and you did the introduction, what did you say? Do you remember? That was my first encounter with Fadda Dickson,’’ she recounted.
“After complimenting me, you asked Fadda whether he would hire me. He responded that he disliked any English-speaking shenanigans in the firm. He advised me to stick to my English field. In 2021, Fadda rejected me,” MzGee said.
She continued by explaining that because Abeiku Santana had confidence in her aptitudes, he was able to foretell her future.
“What did you refer to me as back then—the Ghanaian Wendy Williams, I assume? You used to know me and could see into the future. You didn’t perceive me as a replica or clone,’’ she added.
