Bismark Ansu, a 24-year-old National Service Person has been sentenced to three weeks in police custody for unlawfully defiling three pupils in his class.
The suspect is a class two tutor at the Sehwi Asawinso Methodist Primary P in the Sehwi Wiawso Municipality located in the Western North Region.
News reaching us (1Family Radio) is that Bismark held extra classes for his pupils in his home in January of this year without informing the school administration, asserting that he needed to finish the academic year’s curriculum.
However, Bismark used the extra classes to entice three of his pupils, who between the ages of eight and nine, to engage in illicit sexual activity.
If they reveal the details of their misery to anyone what had happened, he threatened to kill them.
Some weeks after the alleged defilement had taken place, the victim’s parents began seeing unusual blood flows from their daughters’ private areas. When questioned about this, they admitted to the incident.
At Sehwi Asawinso, a police report was filed, and the complainants were given a medical document directing them to send the victims to any government hospital for evaluation, treatment, and confirmation. The actions supported the allegations of the defilement.
Bismark was eventually arrested and brought before the Bibiani Circuit Court on charges of three offenses, including the threats of death in violation section 75 of the Criminal Offences 1960 (ACT 29), defilement in violation of Section 101 of the Criminal Offences 1960 (ACT 29), and harm in violation of section 74 of the Criminal Offences 1960 (ACT 29).
After the court heard the specifics of the cases, the accused has been remanded and is scheduled to appear again on Monday, May 29, 2023.
The victims are however seem to be responding to treatment.
