Ex-Manchester city midfielder, Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk has reassured everyone that the rumoured curse on Manchester City about the team not winning the UEFA Champions League under the Supervision of Pep Guardiola has been reversed.
Speaking on an interview monitored by 1Family Radio, Dimitri Seluk stated that his client has no resentment towards the club’s manager and wishes that the club triumphs.
He was apologetic for any upsetting feelings, stating theat the club is most likely to win under the supervision of Pep Guardiola.
He said, “I want to apologise for this matter. I think it is time for this bitterness to stop… and I know that Yaya feels the same because he wishes nothing but success for City. I can say that the spell, has now been lifted by the shamans… and that I think City will win the Champions league under Pep.”
Seluk feels Manchester City has a good chance in winning the UCL this season, if not in this season, then in the next three years.
He said, “They have a good chance of winning it this year. But whatever happens, they will definitely win it in the next three years. Do you remember when I once criticised City for not giving Yaya a cake on his birthday? Well, it is my birthday this month and my present is for this curse to be ended. In fact, is my hope that city wins this Treble this season.”
In an older interview, monitored by 1Family Radio, Dimitri Seluk in the year 2018 stated that, in respect of Pep Guardiola’s presumed mistreatment of Yaya Toure, Pep would no longer win a Champions League in his career as a result of African Shamans casting a spell on him.
Pep has since had some serious heartbreak, which involves Manchester City’s defeat in the 2021 UEFA Champions League to Chelsea.
The club wishes to not repeat history this season after getting to the semi-finals. On May 09, 2023 Manchester City will play against Real Madrid in the first leg in Spain and the second leg a week after.
