The National Petroluem Authority (NPA) has refuted paying any compensation to Ghanaian singer, Fameye.
Their statement comes after Ghanaian Highlife singer, Fameye stated that he has been compensated by an anonymous fuel station that sold adulterated fuel to him.
Some weeks ago, Fameye alleged that his car was filled with fuel laced with water at an undisclosed fuel station which damaged his Honda Pilot 2019 model.
In a recent interview on TV3, the musician however noted that he has been compensated with an amount of GH¢25, 000 by the unknown fuel station.
But the NPA has also disclosed that they are not aware of the compensation paid to the musician.
According to them, Fameye is yet to disclose the name and location of the fuel station in question.
A tweet by the NPA sighted by 1Family Radio indicated, “the NPA is not aware of any compensation paid to Fameye.’’
“Till date, Fameye is yet to disclose the fuel station that sold fuel laced with water to him,’’ the statement read.
