Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer, Nana Osei better known as Nacee has stated that he would gladly welcome his lookalike into his home and groom him.
In recent times, some men with striking resemblance to some Ghanaian celebrities have been captured at media interviews and events on social media in an attempt to enjoy the lime light.
Some celebrities and section of Ghanaians have condemned this act of impersonation adding that it will sabotage the brand of the original celebrities.
However, Nacee has said that he wouldn’t mind grooming his lookalike for free should they ever meet.
Speaking in an interview on JoyNews monitored by 1Family Radio, the gospel musician stated that he will provide his lookalike with everything to make life comfortable for him as far as he accords him with respect.
“If I see my lookalike somewhere, I would invite him home, give him water and provide him with everything to make him comfortable. If he is good singer and has interest in singing, I will teach him for free.’’
He however noted that he wouldn’t think twice to retreat his help if he doesn’t get the respect he deserves or his business stands the risk of collapsing.
“I will not be a disgrace to see my lookalike performing my song anyhow and somebody somewhere will think that I am the one performing. That would be an insult to my brand,’’ he said.
“People will be like ‘w’abon and I will surely lose my business. That is why I will welcome my lookalike and groom him but if he takes my glory for granted, there will be a problem.’’
“I am ready to groom him and give him whatever he needs on condition that he doesn’t disrespect me,’’ Nacee added.
