The new ministerial nominees approved by parliament some couple of days ago have been sworn into office by the president.
This inauguration service took place at the Jubilee House in Accra on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 monitored by 1Family Radio.
The ministers are the Minister and Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Kobina Tahir Hammond and Dr. Stephen Amoah respectively, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, the Minister for of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs and the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong.
Other Ministers of State were also inaugurated by the president. They are the Minister of State at the Ministry of local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Osei Bonsu Amoah and the Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam.
President Akuffo-Addo noted that these new Ministers have a role to play in restoring macroeconomic stability in the country.
According to the president, integrity is very key in discharging their duties while adding that they should remember their dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at all times.
“You have been appointed into public offices to serve the interest of the country and not to promote personal gain,’’ the president said.
The spokesperson for the group, Mr. Asamoah Boateng expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the president for the opportunity given to them to serve the nation.
