Samuel Yaw Dabo, a Ghanaian diminutive kumawood actor has opened up on why he stopped paying his tithe to God in church.
According to the comic actor, you attract two things in the house of God, either blessings or curses and since he doesn’t want the latter, he has stopped tithing.
Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix monitored by 1Family Radio, stated that Christianity is full of principles and failure to abide by these principles will incur the wrath of God.
Explaining why he stopped paying his tithe, the actor indicated that tithe is a principle of giving God 10% of all your earnings and since he can’t ascertain that he can be honest about it, he has stopped.
He furthered that since he can’t abide by this principle to the latter, he has decided not to pay at all until he is confident enough in order not to incur divine punishments.
“As a Christian, you can attract curses by paying your tithe if care is not taken. I have decided not to pay my tithe because I have not been truthful about it and anytime you lie about your tithe, you attract curses instead of curses,’’ he said.
“Worshipping God is based on principles and if you disregard these principles, you receive curses,’’ Dabo added.
