Henry Osei Akoto, a member of the biggest opposition party in the country, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rubbished the presidential bid of Vice President Dr. Bawumia.
According to the 2020 NDC parliamentary for the Oforikrom Constituency, Bawumia can only become the next president of Ghana if he brings aliens into the country to vote for him during the 2024 general elections.
In a tweet he shared on his Twitter handle, Henry noted that Bawumia can never become the president of Ghana considering the number of promises he has failed to deliver on.
The tweet which was sighted by 1Family Radio indicated that the vice president is a liar and for this reason, he should forgo his aim of becoming the president.
“Considering all the promises Vice President Bawumia made, his failure to deliver on them and the introduction of more taxes, does he still believe the people of Ghana will vote him into power?’’ he quizzed.
He reiterated his claim that Bawumia can only be the president on condition that he brings aliens to vote for him while adding that since Ghanaians are not aliens, there is no way Bawumia can become the president of Ghana.
He stated, “I have never encountered such height of confidence. Only aliens will vote for such a liar to become their president but l know and believe that Ghanaians are not aliens
