Adjoa Yeboah Asuama Kusi, a Ghanaian radio presenter and entrepreneur popularly known as Ohemaa Woyeje stated that we have a long way to go as a country.
She is of the opinion that Ghana will not be better soon because our leaders lack vision and proper planning.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Zionfelix monitored by 1Family Radio, Ohemaa noted that although Ghana is blessed with so much resources than some developed countries, we are suffering more than the citizens in these countries.
Ohemaa Woyege furthered that here in Ghana, the government is unable to pay the civil servants unlike developed countries where their government already has plans for the children yet to be born.
“some Ghanaians travel to these developed countries and enjoy certain benefits that even the citizens of Ghana are not entitled to,’’ she submitted.
She continued, “there is no future for Ghana and when you try saying it, you will be attack by the supporters of the party in power. The ace presenter added that some Ghanaians whose future depends on the development of this country are the very ones defending the incompetence of our leaders.
“Here in Germany, the government pays social welfare to pregnant women for their unborn children. How many children in Ghana are being catered for by the government?” she quizzed.
“The government increases the salaries of the citizens in order for them to live comfortably,’’ she noted.
Ohemaa continued, “we have a long way to as a country, I just hope that we get a leader who thinks beyond today for the country otherwise there is no future for Ghana.’’
