Fred Nuamah, an NDC parliamentary aspirant for the Ayawaso West Wuogun Constituency has alleged that he is unable to file his online nominations.
According to him, he has tried to complete his online filing nominations process for the past 72 hours but to no avail.
A statement release issued on the 22nd of March, 2023, indicated that he has gone round his constituency to get the needed endorsement but he still unable to make payments for the filing fee electronically.
The statement sighted by 1Family Radio on the politician’s Facebook page noted, “after picking my nomination, I have gone round the constituency to have the required endorsement. For the past 72 hours, I have not been able to complete the filing of my nominations electronically as well as make payments for the filing fee.’’
He furthered, “all efforts have proven futile after my engagement with the relevant personnel behind the party’s electronic platform.’’
The actor now turned politician disclosed that his inability to file the nominations online is a scheme to prevent him from contesting.
“I have found this to be another Machiavellian tactic to prevent me from successfully filing my nomination,’’ he alleged.
Fred wrote that he has entreat the involved stakeholders and he is hoping to get a good respond very soon.
He stated, “I have therefore petitioned to the appropriate stakeholders through writing and hope to they resolve the problem as soon as possible.’’
